After completing a diploma school of nursing, Pat Iyer MSN RN LNCC earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. She has extensive clinical experience as a medical surgical nurse and entered the legal nurse consulting field in 1987 as a liability nursing expert witness. Over the past 35 + years, she has crafted her skill as an LNC. As a Past President of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, she served the profession and expanded her authority and network. She’s written thousands of expert witness and LNC reports, and proofread thousands of reports for her experts for medical malpractice, personal injury, product liability, toxic tort, criminal and other kinds of cases. A prolific author, Pat has written books that were either published by traditional publishers or self-published.
Dr. Kathleen Ashton, a Professor Emerita at Rutgers University School of Nursing, boasts a rich background in teaching, research, and expert witness testimony. Her specialization in women and heart disease and her experience as a legal nurse consultant for over twenty-seven years make her a trusted authority in the field.
