I’m Pat Iyer MSN RN LNCC, a legal nurse consultant business coach who developed expertise in the field since 1987

I entered the field as an expert witness and had to testify in a New Jersey courtroom on the second case I ever reviewed, just 2 months after starting to accept cases as an expert. To say I was anxious about getting to the stand is an understatement!

Two years after my first case, I started Med League Support Services, an independent legal nurse consulting business. I successfully used the proven marketing and business strategies that I now teach in my programs to grow my legal nurse consulting business to more than a million dollars in sales per year before selling it and starting an LNC training company teaching other LNC's how to do the same.

I continue to serve attorneys as an independent LNC.

My experience includes 20 years testifying as a medical surgical liability expert, 25 years testifying as an FRE 1006 expert, certification as an LNCC since 1999, and serving for five years on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, including one year as national president.

I’ve received awards as the Entrepreneur of the Year, National Nurses in Business Association in 2019, the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, Lifetime Achievement in 2005 and the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, Volunteer of the Year in 2006.

Through my work as an LNC, I’ve helped my plaintiff attorney clients achieve settlements or verdicts of up to $17 million, and I’ve assisted my defense attorney clients win cases and minimize their payout.
