Build Your LNC Business Relationships in Your Marketing
Build your LNC relationships with these top seven marketing tips to grow your client base. When it comes to marketing, it’s not always easy to know where to begin.
If you are a person who struggles with marketing, you are not alone. Stop comparing yourself negatively with other LNCs simply because marketing is more complicated for you than some. The other LNCs started without experience also.
Did you know that marketing doesn’t need to be yucky and uncomfortable? I will show you techniques that you can implement and help you find the success you deserve.
Best Tips to Build Relationship Marketing
1. Reach Out Through Other Mediums
Social networking is a must to reach your potential attorney clients. But unfortunately, some people only utilize 2 to 3 of the many social media platforms. While that can be successful for some, imagine if you decided to be seen on other social media platforms. Then, you can take advantage of those untapped platforms.
Some of the overlooked networks are Pinterest, LinkedIn, WhatsAPP, and Snapchat, only a few. TikTok, started for younger people and now I see more seasoned folks using that platform also.
What’s key is to consider where your ideal attorney clients are hanging out. In my experience, you’ll see them primarily on LinkedIn and Facebook.
Reach out to your audience on those networks with specialized content they may not be getting from your competitors. Build a more profound relationship of trust, and they will be happy to see what you have to offer them.
2. Network Locally
We tend to focus so much on online networking that we forget about our local community. Instead, connect with locals on social media and get involved in local groups. For example, you can create your meet-and-greet at a local coffee house, your Chamber of Commerce, the local Bar Association chapter.
Present yourself and your business so that people want to learn more about you and your LNC business. Be open to being extroverted in these settings.

3. Collect Testimonials from Clients
Think about how you purchase products these days, and I bet you have looked for reviews from consumers about their experiences. Think Amazon, for example.
Attorneys nowadays want to see other people’s experiences and results before they commit and hire you. They network on listservs and listen to each other’s recommendations.
Have a process in place to collect the testimonials. Don’t be shy to ask your clients to give you a testimonial, and use these kind words in social media posts and on your website!
4. Start a Deeper Conversation on Social Media
We get so caught up in creating and posting new content all over social media that all we seem to do is promote our services without considering the social aspect of social media.
Begin a meaningful conversation that invites the input of others, then manage the participation and comments thoughtfully. It allows others to share their opinions and views on different subjects.
Do not begin a conversation, then fail to monitor what is happening with it. You need to be the one that keeps it going in a healthy direction. You must follow up on the comments in the conversation.
5. Create Articles on Medium
Building authority as an LNC can feel exhausting. Fortunately, you have a variety of ways to build it.
One of the easiest things to do to help is to create articles for Medium. Millions of eyeballs are on Medium for various topics, news, and lifestyle pieces. As a result, more artistic and creative articles are featured across any genre.
When you post an article on Medium, it is exposed to millions of readers a month, providing an opportunity for your business to be discovered faster. So be sure to follow the Medium editorial guidelines, and who knows, you could end up featured.
6. Establish Yourself as a Thought Leader
Have you considered the many ways you can position yourself as a thought leader in your field?
Writing LinkedIn articles, creating your blog, writing ebooks on the hot topics of your niche, and granting interviews all help your star rise a little higher. Each of them positions you as a leader in your niche.
Promote everything on your social media platforms to solidify your positioning. Be seen everywhere.
7. Expand Your Writing
Whether digital or printed, publishing a book can rapidly increase your authority. Creating books that your clients can use gives you another opportunity to elevate their experience with you. If you are interested in writing a book, let’s talk. I teach people how to excel at this project.
