What does it take to do well as a nursing expert witness? Does the expert really have the right qualifications in the form of education, training and experience? Sometimes an attorney asks nursing expert witnesses in a very confrontational way during a deposition, “What makes you think you’re an expert?” The expert has to be able to defend herself and her expert witness qualifications in a credible logical way.
